Megan Broughton

Printmaking

Megan is an OS15 alumna, a former Oxbow Alumni Teaching Assistant, and the school's previous Residential Life Advisor. She earned a BFA in Art from CalArts and has held residencies at The Earthfire Institute in Tetonia Idaho, The Can Serrat International Arts Center in Barcelona Spain, and The Arctic Circle in Svalbard Norway (2019). She is the cofounder of the new literary journal Two if By Sea and her writing has been featured in FANZINE, Enclave, and Entropy, where she is a Contributing Editor. She has taught with programs including the CalArts Community Arts Partnership, the California State Summer School for the Arts, Can Serrat, and NOMAD Lab (awarded the John Anson Ford Human Relations Award in its first year by the Los Angeles County Commission on Human Relations). In 2017, she developed Oxbow's After School Art Program for local youth in the Napa After Class Enrichment program to work with Oxbow students. She is a CalArts Bay Area Alumnx Chapter Leader.
