Many thanks to the Point Bonita YMCA for hosting Oxbow again for another Retreat Weekend. We spent three days hiking, beachtiming, swimming, exploring, playing boardgames, sharing magic card tricks, and indulging in crafts.
Point Bonita is a stunning section of coast boasting views of San Francisco, the Marin Headlands, and the Pacific Ocean. We are always grateful for the time we get to spend there amongst the hills and ice plants, spotting seals in the surf!
Oxbow gave Will a voice and a community. Under the nurturing attention of his wonderful teachers, he learned that he had the intellectual capability to express himself and that his unique point of view was, in fact, an asset.
