Summer Camp

Oxbow Summer Camp 2013

Our 2012 summer camp was a fun-filled, amazingly creative collaboration between staff and students. This year, we had campers attend from hometowns just a few miles away to as far as Paris, Vancouver, and Tokyo! During their time at camp, students immersed themselves into their artistic practice, making remarkable work over the course of just 16 days. Both the campers’ artwork, as well as photos from our various activities, can be seen on our Facebook page at:

In July, we also officially launched our Oxbow Summer Art Camp Tumblr page! Check it out at:

We will soon be diving into planning the 2013 summer camp program. More details will be on our website shortly, but for those of you eager to mark your calendars the dates for next summer are listed below. As always, if you know young artists who want a taste of what a semester would be like, have them contact us for registration information.

2013 Summer Camp Dates:
Session 1: June 29-July 14
Session 2: July 20-August 4

Additional program information and photos can be found under the Summer Camp tab on the school website at Please contact or call 707.592.6295 with inquiries.

I hope to see you next summer at camp or at one of our final shows!

Many Thanks,
Susan Lynn Smith
