This weekend, Oxbow ventured to Point Bonita for a three-day retreat. On Friday, we all hiked down to Tennessee Valley Beach in Sausalito where we ate lunch, enjoyed the view, explored nearby hillsides, and made friends with a very excitable dog. Then, we split into two groups where some of us hiked over the mountain to our retreat location a few miles away, and the rest of us stayed on the beach for a little while. For the rest of the weekend, we had a mixture of organized activities and a lot of free time. On Friday we played an all school game of Mafia, and on Saturday we split into mini game groups. Mo taught a group of us how to play poker, and it was really fun! On our way home, we stopped by the Headlands Center for the Arts down the road from the YMCA for their Open Studios.
This week, I am looking forward to getting into Project X.
Huge thanks go out to the Point Bonita YMCA for hosting us at their magnificent site. We hope to return for future retreats as it is truly a gorgeous site!
