A busy week for OS41 has come to an end, with Project X and Walden Experiments stirring up excitement and hard work. Students have been in the studios for hours at a time, finalizing their ambitious Project X works while sometimes working around their peer's Walden Experiment limitations (assignment = drastically alter something about yourself for several days). Earlier in the week, a lovely artist lecture was given by Bessma Khalaf, where students learned of her out of the ordinary approaches to her pieces, such as sitting on an ice mold of a horse until it melted, or forming a wall of melted wax over many hours.
