Oxbow Chef Jenny Emanuel

09/30/15

Oxbow chef Jenny Emanuel and her husband Mike Emanuel also a chef at Stone Edge Farms are on the cover of the October issue of Sunset magazine along with Stone Edge Farms culinary director John McReynolds. McReynolds is featured in the article How to throw a wine pairing party by Elaine Johnson, Sunset's Associate Food Editor.

The Sonoma Index-Tribune article Sunset develops an Edge by Kathleen Thompson Hill also covers this special event.

The Oxbow School has both a local and national reputation for excellence. Oxbow produces great artists. In its studio, these emerging artists have a community of creative peers who respect one another and foster an expectation to produce thoughtful, sophisticated work.

— Paul Coffey, Vice Provost and Dean of Community Engagement, The School of the Art Institute of Chicago

If at any point Oxbow doubts the good it does, I just want to reassure you all that you’re changing the lives of young artists every semester.

— Colin Davis, Fall 2009

Advice I would give to future students is to just do it and come to Oxbow and not overthink it because it will most likely (99.9%) be the best decision you have made in your life.

— Malachi Snyder, Spring 2018
