Miranda Von Salis graduated from Guilford College with Honors from the Honors College in May with a major in Philosophy and minors in Political Science and German. Her thesis was on philosophers Averroes and Aristotle, and medieval rhetoric. She is working in Philadelphia for non-profit education and a consortium of preschools and after school programs. Most of her work is in the area of public relations, fundraising, development and grant writing.

I learned to drop all previous assumptions I had about people because I had never met anyone like the other students at Oxbow. For the first time, my peers and their insightful thinking inspired me.
