After three years as an Assistant Professor Of Economics at St. John’s University in Queens, Kirstin moved to Texas to join the Political Science Department at the University of Texas Rio Grande Valley as an Assistant Professor of Feminist Political Economy.

I learned to drop all previous assumptions I had about people because I had never met anyone like the other students at Oxbow. For the first time, my peers and their insightful thinking inspired me.
