Jason Tucker (OS20) is an artist and photographer whose work explores the dissection of history and portraiture of various forms. After leaving his semester at Oxbow (as a Spring semester senior) he graduated from the Corcoran College of Art and Design in 2013 with a BFA in Fine Art Photography. His work has been shown nationally and internationally. He will be attending The Arctic Circle Residency in Svalbard, Norway in 2024 as an Artist-In-Residence.
Inspired by his experience as a student at Oxbow, his professional trajectory has been focused on creating platforms and opportunities for emerging and mid-career creatives, including organizing a collective of young artists from 2009 - 2014, working at Morton Fine Art in Washington, DC, and ultimately returning to Oxbow Admissions Office to provide the experience he received during high school in Napa to new generations of young artists.
