Lou Tandon

Summer Printmaking

Lou Tandon (they/them) is a multimedia artist, creative technologist and educator born in Pittsburgh, PA and based in Los Angeles, CA. Their practice spans drawing, printmaking, music-making and 3D world-building. Influenced by somatic practices, Lou’s work investigates how narrative, the attention economy and other societal systems intersect with the ecosystem and inner self. Lou earned a BFA in Painting from the Rhode Island School of Design and a BA in Computer Music and Multimedia from Brown University through the Dual Degree Program. They are a recipient of a Co-Residency at Bunker Projects, a scholarship for residency at the Vermont Studio Center, and a residency at the Brew House Association, among other awards and grants. They are excited to join the Oxbow community this summer as a teacher and leader of the print shop.
