Caroline Woolard is teaching a class about barter at The New School. For her latest video of live/work/philosophy go to http://vimeo.com/31042328. She is also is co-founder of Trade School and will represent them for smART power in Delhi, India. Trade School is a non-traditional learning environment that runs on barter. Anyone can teach a class, and students sign up for classes by agreeing to meet the barter requests of teachers. Now in its third year, Trade School celebrates practical wisdom, mutual respect, and the social nature of exchange. Trade School classes range from weaving and grant writing to ghost hunting and balloon animals, and teachers have asked for everything from research and advice to vegetables.

Claire Fletcher

Claire Fletcher is working at Chronicle Books in San Francisco as a Managing Editorial assistant. Two of her art pieces will be featured in one of their upcoming books called Everyting Is Going to Be OK. She's getting married next June in a double wedding ceremony along with her brother OS6 Alden Fletcher and his bride.

Ali Powley

Ali Powley graduated summa cum laude from New York University with a double major in studio art and art history. She is now managing for Calvin Klein and is contemplating a law degree and pursuing a career in repatriating art objects. She still keeps in touch with several of her Oxbow classmates.

Caroline Woolard

Caroline Woolard – received $15,000 to finish developing www.OurGoods.org, a barter network that helps artists, designers, and producers of culture get independent projects done. In the past year, Caroline was an artist in residence at The MacDowell Colony, Watermill, and iLAND. Caroline is also currently a core member of two collaborative projects: KTC Architecture (building an off-the-grid house for artists for The Andes Sprouts Society) and Strataspore (mycology and art: www.strataspore.com). She lives in NYC and wishes she could visit Oxbow right now!

Case Conover completed a residency at Kala Art Institute in Berkeley where he focused on stamping, silkscreen, letterpress and intaglio. He also participated in the Power to the Peaceful festival in Golden Gate Park in San Francisco.
